SCOTCHBRITE CLEANING and POLISHING ROLLS

These are 1"x30' Ultrafine Scotch-Brite Type "S" rolls labeled as CLEANING AND FINISHING material. 16 rolls/ctn. Were used in the manufacture of high end display cabinets for polishing the edges of Lucite shelving and other plastic items. Similar to and used like emory cloth but produces a finer finish and is better for polishing softer materials. Its strong point is the way it holds together working on wet surfaces. A mechanic working my car found this material perfect for hand cleaning/polishing the piston tops and valves that had gotten mucked up with carbon deposits — tough enough to cut the carbon but didn't scar the metal. I also found them the perfect thing to clean the metal contacts on my phone and recharger. These retail for over $4/roll which makes this carton value over $64, IF you are lucky enough to find them.
